Sensitivity training is a form of training with the goal of making people more aware of their own prejudices and more sensitive to others. This is especially important with respect to the public and the wide array and diversity of Canadians. During this course of training, our Guards learn how to be sensitive to and respond accordingly and respectfully to everyone they encounter.
Painstakingly designed to build the awareness, knowledge and skills of our guard staff from front staff to senior leaders and support the development of an inclusive work environment. Some of our topics include:

Should the need arise, we want to ensure our security guard have the training required that may save a life. This Federally Certified program also includes training components in CPR, First Aid, and the use of Automated External Defibrillators.
In keeping with the requirements of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as Iron Horse Security’s Occupational Health and Safety Policies, all employees are provided with Health and Safety Awareness Training at the commencement of their employment with us.
This training element has been incorporated into all our Security Guard Training Programs and appropriate records are maintained.
Iron Horse Security also provides specialized training programs to meet our client’s unique and specific needs. Iron Horse Security works closely with our clients and partners to develop site and task specific training programs that range from for Artifact Protection, Site Security Assessments, and other specialized tasks that require coordinated action between the security team and other resource groups.
Each security guard with Iron Horse Security is trained to implement a crisis management plan to ensure a seamless response to serious incidents.
